The Platinum Iridium Alloy Wire For Medica features a composition of 90% platinum and 10% iridium and is widely used to assemble microelectrode probes. Iridium is a platinum group metal that is very dense and hard, adding strength to the wire. Iridium is not easy to volatilize and oxidize, and can significantly improve the corrosion resistance of platinum. There are ptlrl0 and ptlr17 5. Ptlr25, ptlr30 and other alloys have high hardness, high melting point, high corrosion resistance and low contact resistance. Platinum-iridium alloy is a classic electrical contact material.
