CF18-PB – Lead shielded container for vial transport
The CF18 shielded container is made of 40 mm lead and fully coated with AISI 304 stainless steel. It is used for the transportation of radioisotopes.
The cover is locked with a stainless steel locking ring, also in stainless steel; air sealing is guaranteed by a silicon gasket on the upper part of the container itself; the CF18 cover is equipped with a stainless steel retractable handle, for easy transport.
Thanks to the design of the CF18, many containers can be easily stacked, optimising your storage operations.
The Shielded Cart w/ Cover is designed to transport vial pigs used with PET radionulides. This cart will accomodate the following items: 994-205 (10/30ml Vial Pig) and 949-520 (50ml Vial Pig).

The DOT 1 1/8" Lead Shielded Container for 50cc Vial, was designed to hold up to a 50cc vial of radioactive isotope. The container is made of steel encased with 1.125" (2.85 cm) thick lead including the screw on cover. In the center of the cover is a Stainless Steel needle access channel to the vial. A Stainless Steel screw knob with a silicone O-ring seal and a tungsten rod plugs the needle access channel when not in use. The vial cavity of the container includes a 1/8" (0.3) thick foam on the bottom to protect the vial. The cover has an attached Stainless Steel screw knob to access the Stainless Steel needle channel.. This DOT Lead Shielded Container has a foldable handle to make it easier to take in and out of the Optional Lead Shielded Cart w/ Cover (Item #949-500).
