Tungsten wire has extremely high heat and corrosion resistance. Most inorganic acids only slightly attack it. Highest tensile strength at temperatures above 1650°C. Tungsten filament is commonly used in tungsten filament resistance bulbs and lamps. It can also be used to manufacture optical instruments, electronic vacuum components, high temperature parts, etc.
