Product Description
Overview
Nickel wires are made of high-purity nickel (≥99.5%) or nickel alloys, possessing excellent conductivity, corrosion resistance (especially in alkaline environments), and high-temperature stability. They are widely used in electronic devices, battery electrodes, vacuum devices, and chemical equipment, meeting the stringent requirements of high-end manufacturing. Our company provides high-level customization services and the most cost-effective quotes. Please feel free to contact us via email if you are interested.
Advantage
- Physical characteristics: excellent electrical and thermal conductivity; suitable linear expansion coefficient; good high-temperature resistance; high permeability.
- Mechanical properties: It can still maintain good mechanical strength in high-temperature environments; it has good pressure processability in both the hot and cold states.
- Chemical properties: Excellent corrosion resistance and oxidation properties, stable performance in dry atmosphere, room temperature pure water, neutral and alkaline solutions.

Nickel Wires Application
1. Electronics & Electrical Industry
Nickel Chrome Wire is used in precision resistors, potentiometers, and heating wires, providing stable resistance and high-temperature reliability.
Nickel Wire is used in the lead and support structures of special light sources such as halogen lamps, as well as tube/picture tube filaments, guide wires, and electrode holders, and is suitable for high-temperature and high-vacuum environments.
Pure nickel wire is wound into inductor coils, solenoids, and magnetic shielding components**, taking advantage of its permeability and stability.
2. Chemical industry
N4/N6 pure nickel wire is resistant to concentrated alkali corrosion and is used in caustic soda equipment, electrolyzer electrodes, filters, and heating tubes to form a passivation film to extend its life.
It is used for reactor heating elements, catalyst carriers, and anti-corrosion electrodes, and is suitable for severe working conditions such as acid/alkali/salt.
It is used for anti-corrosion and conductive connections in marine equipment, pipelines, and valves.
3. Aerospace
Nickel-based alloy wires are used in high-temperature heating, sensors, and seals of aero engines, rockets, and spacecraft, and are resistant to extremely high temperatures and oxidizing environments.
It is used as a wire cutting electrode and EDM wire, which is used in the manufacture of molds and aviation precision parts.
4. Biomedical
High-purity nickel wires (such as nitinol alloys) are used in vascular stents, pacemaker electrodes, and orthopedic implants, with good biocompatibility and plasticity.
Ultra-fine nickel wire can be used in surgical instruments, diagnostic sensors, and microcatheters to meet high precision and biosecurity requirements.
